Dynamics NAVLync integrates Microsoft Lync(R) Server with Microsoft Dynamics(R) NAV, allowing users to quickly and directly retrieve information on contacts. When a telephone call is received, Dynamics NAVLync call pop produces a list of all contacts associated with that specific number. Once the user has clicked on the name of the specific contact making the call, the Add-on quickly presents important information relevant to that contact and links to relevant areas of the system, customisable to suit individual requirements.
This provides your telephone operatives with all the relevant and important information regarding the caller to allow them to deal with the enquiry or request quickly with full visibility of the customer history, and it keeps them informed directly about any issues that are outstanding on the customer account. If the number associated with the caller is not in the Dynamics NAV database, the user is given the option to create a new customer, vendor or contact as appropriate.
