Document and Email Management Solutions for SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010

by MacroView

MacroView Document Management Framework extends the document management capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010 to enable the creation of document management solutions that are highly functional, cost-effective and popular with end-users. For many
firms, these solutions are a viable alternative to traditional DM systems such as Hummingbird, Interwoven and Documentum. MacroView DMF allows organisations to realise the full document management potential of SharePoint and thereby maximize their return on
investment in SharePoint.

MacroView DMF is incredibly intuitive. Users can drag and drop to save emails and their attachments to any SharePoint document library to which they have permission. Email-related metadata is automatically captured with zero prompting. Users can also save documents
to SharePoint directly from Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Reader and Windows Explorer with support for capturing any metadata column supported by SharePoint, including Business Data columns.

MacroView DMF provides a tree-view of SharePoint everywhere it surfaces, which makes working with documents stored in SharePoint as easy and familiar as using Windows Explorer. With support for filtering and caching, the MacroView DMF tree-view makes navigating
very large SharePoint document stores efficient in both human and machine resource terms. MacroView DMF also provides an excellent interface to SharePoint Search from within Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows Explorer.

In conjunction with DMF MacroView supplies a range of other addins for advanced document management functionality. These include MacroView Unique Document Numbering (for assigning a unique Document Id to each file as it is saved to SharePoint) and MacroView
Enhanced Document-Level Security (which allows contributor users to set document level security).
