Many small and medium sized businesses experience problems in managing equipment/asset that are used off-site by field personnel. Further, it may be difficult for operational staff to determine location of a given equipment and identify the personnel responsible for removing it from the storage location or warehouse. The standard service scheduling function of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online does not provide automated barcode tracking capability or identification of personnel responsible for removing it from the warehouse.
“Equipment Register” is a desktop application for management of assets or equipment used by field personnel. The application is designed to be used with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online or Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 (on-premise) and uses a barcode scanner for fast and error-free checking-in and checking-out of equipment from the warehouse. The barcode scanner can be used to scan equipment and associate it with a field-based personnel or vehicle. The application includes barcode generator and printing capabilities.
