Through DSC-IT's own internal and client deployments of Microsoft Unified Communication solutions we have developed a proven methodology for combining business processes and technology to provide real business benefits. The methodology includes the following key areas:
Development of a Business Case: DSC-IT will develop a business case for the deployment of Unified Communications. In partnership with our client we evaluate the product features and capabilities to ensure that the business will benefits from the deployment. In addition to this will provide a complete analysis of Total Cost of Ownershop (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) to detail costs and savings.
Planning and Design: DSC-IT ensures that the recommended solution supports the business and technical requirements. We provide a detailed Design and Implementation plan to address performance, high availability, site survivability, disaster recovery, network changes, operations and ongoing management.
Installation, Configuration and Testing: DSC-IT will configure all hardware and software, including Microsoft Exchange Server, Office Communication Server, Communicator client and Active Directory. We will implement any configuration of the network layer to ensure LAN/WAN supports UC environment. As well as providing complete acceptance testing to ensure all functional and business deliverables. In addition to this DSC-IT can:
- Integrate or Migrate the existing Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Provisioning and Deployment of Telephony equipment
- Deploy monitoring facilities for Archiving and Call Detail Recording (CDR)
- Setup Audio/Video Conferencing
Operational Handover and Training: DSC-IT provides comprehensive training and knowledge transfer for administrators and end users. We develop a user adoption strategy, including communication plans, training and providing end user documentation and quick start guides. We also provide "Train the trainer" to assist organisation who want to conduct their own in house training.
