The Identity Management team at Kloud Solutions has extensive consulting and implementation skills in Microsoft identity and access management technologies and solutions, supported by sound infrastructure and security expertise. The team has implemented Microsoft’s Identity Management suite of products starting with the first release of Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003, through all versions of the product to the latest version – Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010 R2 SP1. Our identity solutions range from strategic initiatives, evaluating and building business cases for a program of works, through to the implementation of tactical solutions to solve specific business problems.
Kloud Solutions developed accelerated solution offerings to deploy Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager solutions and identity management outcomes with a defined scope and timeframe.
The first offering involves deploying FIM’s ‘self-service password reset’ portal and Microsoft Windows logon screen addition to empower end-users to reset their own passwords and greatly reduce support calls to the IT service desk.
The second offering deploys FIM to perform staff provisioning and de-provisioning services to manage Active Directory user accounts Exchange mailbox creation, updates and removal. This involves integrating the Human Resources system as the ‘authoritative’ data source of staff information to automate the provisioning processes to realise substantial cost savings and increased data quality and timeliness for user access, and also improve the security to the organisation to revoke access to employees who have left employment.
The third offering deploys the FIM security group and distribution list management feature, to delegate group management with owner workflow approval, allow users self-service functionality directly from Microsoft Outlook to request access to groups, and for common groups to be automatically and dynamically updated based on criteria This dramatically reduces calls to the IT service desk and thus reduces operational costs.
