- Pros
- It didn't take long for the move to a virtualised environment to pay dividends for us. Through the use of Microsoft's System Centre Virtual Machine Managers in-depth reporting we have easier control of systems, better allocation of resources and improved server management. We estimate that this helped to negate the need to employ additional IT support staff, thereby saving our company around $60,000 per annum. The disaster recovery solution which incorporates Microsoft's Hyper-V technology provides a complete replication of our information systems and we are confident that should the worst happen, we will have a skeletal – but functional – system operating within 24 hours. We have it all scoped out as to what systems need to come on line and when.

- Pros
- Everything we knew about went to plan but we did discover a couple of little things about our system set-up that we were unaware of. One benefit of the deployment was that it allowed us to identify such gaps in our own procedures and security, and then to rectify them.
