Visual Defence’s 3C® Security Integration Platform is specifically designed to integrate existing, new and future security and operational systems to provide event management capabilities to demanding organizations.  The 3C Integration Platform is capable of easily managing more than 1000 events per minute, over 100,000 events per day, providing interoperability and a central point of management for video, access control, fire alarm, trouble-ticketing, video analytics, GIS and more.




As an open architecture platform, third-party systems are easily integrated to 3C through:





Software Development Kits (SDKs)
Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
Open Protocol Connectivity (OPC) interfaces or
Proprietary Alarm Gateway technology







This approach provides Visual Defence the flexibility to integrate with virtually any third party system or edge device, resulting in a fully customized solution meeting exacting client needs.




The 3C® Event Management Application is a workflow tool that adds a layer of intelligence to integration, reducing the reliance on Operator decision-making in high pressure situations.  The workflow tool allows clients to implement their own pre-defined response procedures for any alarm or combination of alarms, incorporating prompts and cues for the operator to follow and respond to in a given event.  This aids to prevent and mitigate human error by providing for immediate, accurate and intelligent response while alleviating Operator training issues.




Additionally, the 3C advanced reporting module tracks all events, operator actions, faulty devices and more. All actions are logged for future retrieval and can be invaluable in providing organizations with a wealth of information to continually improve their operational effectiveness, and provide post incedent details for litigation.
