Habañero worked alongside ICBC to create a brand new portal — ‘the hub’ — for employees. The Hub rewrites and restructures content with a task-based navigation that moves away from departmental silos and provides content that supports employees in delivering a brand-aligned customer experience. The portal, built on SharePoint’s 2010 platform, also provides employees with a customized experience that showcases work tools and news relevant to their role. An Employee Directory and People Search allows employees to not only search for the content they need, but also for colleagues who can help them.
Habañero also assisted ICBC with building a new portal governance approach, employee training plan, and content and collaboration oversight to ensure the solution continues to return value to ICBC.
An enhanced Search allows employees to find relevant information in a timely manner to support a better customer experience through improved business processes, efficiency, and accurate content.
