Application Description
This BizTalk pipeline component can be used on a BizTalk Server out-of-the-box environment (from version 2004 until the latest) to generate a custom PDF file as output. It is very user-friendly; no particular configuration is needed.
Business Issue the Solution Addresses:
- Archiving documents in human readable format.
- Converts XSL:FO to a PDF document.
Value of the Solution to Customers:
- Easy submit of raw data in PDF documents to users.
- No extra components required. Exception-handling performed as a regular BizTalk Framework pipeline component.
When needed a PDF renderer can be included to allow building your PDF templates in a UI-friendly tool. The pipeline component will then render the provided data in the configured template.
