Veeam Backup & Replication is Modern Data Protection - Built for Virtualization. It's the powerful, easy-to-use and affordable solution for Hyper-V and offers these industry firsts:
- 2-in-1: backup and replication: Back up all of your VMs as often as you like and replicate them onsite for high availability or offsite for disaster recovery to meet your specific RTOs. Veeam’s host-based replication is storage agnostic, providing flexibility to upgrade and mix and match storage between production and disaster recovery sites. Get near-continuous data protection (near-CDP) for any virtualized application with included failover and failback.
- Change block tracking: Exclusive Veeam technology offers fast, incremental backups by maintaining a list of blocks in the virtual hard disk that have been modified. When backing up or replicating those changes, Veeam Backup & Replication refers to this list, eliminating the need to perform a full scan of the entire VHD. You can backup and replicate more frequently―as often as every 5 minutes―to provide near-CDP for your most time-sensitive data, reducing your RPOs to mere minutes.
- Built-in compression and deduplication: Veeam identifies identical blocks and backs them up once, reducing the amount of data that must be transferred over the network and written to disk. Together, compression and deduplication reduce storage requirements by up to 90 percent.
- Multi-hypervisor support: Veeam Backup & Replication can be used in both Hyper-V and VMware environments, eliminating the need for your staff to learn and maintain multiple tools.
