Today we need secure access to systems and data on our LAN (Local Area Network) perhaps via Wi-Fi, across a WAN (Wide Area Network) or VPN (Virtual Private Network) to a remote location or simply on the Internet and we need it faster and more reliably than ever before.
Businesses need to ensure that their mobile devices, workstations and servers are running optimally including key infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory and Virtualisation. Anti-virus, anti-malware, firewalls and a backup strategy must be in place regardless of where machines are located and this is before even beginning to look at legislature regarding data storage and retention, vicarious liability and communications policies. Monitoring and contingency planning is also hugely important as otherwise when (not if) something goes wrong, it may be too late.
The huge growth in intra and inter networking has led to a massive increase in the size and complexity of networks throughout the world. These networks need to be designed and implemented with scalability and security in mind plus they need to then be monitored and supported by highly skilled and experienced individuals. It’s often not possible to create and retain this level of expertise within your organisation, especially if IT is not your core focus.
Allowing us to manage this function or parts thereof allows you to focus on your business while we make sure that everything is running as it should be. Varying options in terms of Service Level Agreements and even ad-hoc services are available.
