DocumentsCorePack provides the possibility to create documents (Doc, DocX, PDF,…) with data from CRM and to manage them in a structured and comfortable way. The addon is capable of resolving any relationship and works with standard, as well as custom entities. Therefore, it is a useful tool to create and manage complex documents.
DocumentsCorePack is available for MS Dynamics CRM 2011 On-Premise, hosted (IFD) and CRM online.
This functionality enables the creation of Word-documents with data from MS Dynamics CRM using templates. It is capable to resolve any relationship and works with custom, as well as standard CRM entities. The template management provides various features, such as the possibility to easily rename, save or relocate templates. Furthermore, users can choose the template which should be used for the document generation from a drop-down menu directly from the main CRM menu ribbon.

With DocX, a new technique for creating templates has been implemented. It provides several advantages like the automated creation of tables and an easy insertion of other documents or pictures from CRM.
- Bulk merge functionality for DocX templates
With the new bulk merge functionality, DocumentsCorePack offers further features for handling DocX templates. This new functionality enables users to create a large number of documents all at once using data out of CRM. It provides several possibilities after the document generation, such as combining all generated documents to one single document whilst maintaining the page numbering, storing all generated documents in one folder, sending the documents to a printer or creating activities with the generated documents as attachments.
- Document Management
With the possibility to link DCP to the CRM-SharePoint integration, users are able to store generated documents in a structured way. The documents are automatically stored in specific folders related to the CRM records that were used in the merge-process.
