athene captures and collects performance data from target systems and provides applications that exploit this data for alert management, performance analysis, Oracle and SQL Server performance reporting, trend analysis and analytical modeling for individual servers or Client-Server networks. It provides analysis of current and recent system performance to identify and investigate problems as they are reported and identify what courses of action are required to restore service levels. Detailed 'Drill Down' facilities are available to analyze problems, plot trends and report on thousands of recorded metrics of system, database instance and session, user and command data. As well as capturing data natively, athene can also interface with leading third-party systems management products such as Tivoli, HP Openview and CA Unicenter.
