Authority Financials comprises a fully integrated suite of modules designed for the public sector.
The solution, built on a Microsoft platform, is completely scalable. Current users include borough councils, district councils, police authorities, Welsh and Scottish unitary authorities and probation services.
Users benefit from a powerful multi-faceted general ledger which provides effective financial control, budget preparation and forecasting, integrated payroll budgeting, sophisticated reporting facilities including all Microsoft standard outputs, automated eMailing and alerts, report scheduling, and interactive dashboarding.
These facilities are complimented by the AuthorityWEB user interface which enables even an inexperienced user to be trained and using the system within a very short timescale. This facilitates automated routing from email alerts from industry standard outputs to web screens that populate the appropriate linked data for information or online authorisation procedures.
The general ledger is complimented by debt recovery modules, including Civica Legal, to provide a true end-to-end process from online raising of invoices, emailing of documents and reminder letters through to provision of court documentation, whilst maintaining a virtually unlimited number of recovery procedures, including:
• unlimited recovery routes and stages to letter before action
• interest and costs charging, and a full set of court documentation with electronic court documents lodgement
• arrangement facilities
• online payments
• customer facing self-service web pages
• group recovery of invoices to provide a true debt management solution that can be integrated with the Civica cash receipting module and general ledger, and links to the creditors module for automated refunds.
