Application Description
A backup disk solution capable of backing up 16 servers to a single appliance. A BDR takes 15 minutes snapshots of server data and can act as a near line mirrored server solution enabling you to virtualize any failed server in less than 1 hour.
The BDR appliance takes block level backups of your Server(s) every 15 minutes resulting in multiple, reliable recovery points. Optionally, the backups can be synchronised to hot plug removable drives or another BDR for storage of data offsite, we recommend at minimum a rotation of 2 drives swapped on a daily basis. For confidentiality, all backups are encrypted with 256-bit AES encryption.
