EMC’s Consulting Business Intelligence for Infrastructure puts in place a business intelligence system that extends your infrastructure reporting and management systems. We add the ability to perform key performance indicator (KPI) reporting, analytics, and alerting of infrastructure performance and capacity.
Challenges
Optimizing and maintaining the proper balance of equipment, planning new purchases, and determining when to consolidate, virtualize, or migrate requires the analysis of vital infrastructure, server, application, networking, performance, and inventory data. Unfortunately, inconsistency in the level of details provided by typical infrastructure monitoring and reporting systems hinders the ability to make accurate, timely decisions.
