Pros: Resource Central is the only product that truly integrates with the Microsoft platform including Outlook and Exchange. A product that lends itself to easy adoption for users because of its tight integration whilst enabling low cost support for IT. An affordable product that is well supported by the author and resellers alike. The product will allow users to simply check resource availability and enable users to book the resource and add extra funcionality like catering ,room layouts, order extra equipment etc, and all this can be done in 2 minutes.
Cons: The product will not work with Lotus Notes, Novell
Additional Comments: Resource Central is very unique in the marketplace because it is the only product that has been designed from the ground up to work with Exchange and Outlook.

Pros: Resource Central is a natural extension to the functionality provided in Microsoft Outlook for the booking and management of resources such as rooms, catering and equipment. If you are already familiar with using Outlook then it is very easy to pick up from an end user perspective.
Cons: You need to make sure that you get the backing of staff who might be using old inefficient processes and make them aware of the benefits of changing the old way of doing things to a newer and more streamlined approach.
Additional Comments: Resource Central helps to further leverage the investment your organisation has placed in Microsoft technologies and really helps you to gain more efficient usage of corporate resources like meeting rooms for instance. Booking a room, arranging equipment, catering and even a different room layout is now a one stop process. All booking information is also stored and can be reported on.
