Migration from Linux to Microsoft Small Business Server 2003

Ensuring customer satisfaction is kept at its peak is achieved through maintaining a solid structure in everything we do. By being experts in a vast majority of Microsoft software, working with other partners on parts we are not as familiar with, and by ensuring we listen to our customer needs and wants gives us the edge. We were approached by one potential customer to provide a solution to their problems that their current structure did not meet, the customer had existing Linux servers that they were using for data storage and a Microsoft Windows XP Home peer to peer network. Existing email was a combination of Pegasus and Thunderbird.

NCI demonstrated the offered solution to the client including showing them the secure features available remotely, we re-designed the document storage strategy to meet their needs and ensured that the customer explained his needs for security internally. A Windows XP upgrade was required on all existing machines and Office 2007 was utilised as their desktop document solution.

Once the solution was accepted, the customer was kept informed of all stages of the install with adjustments they requested catered for along the way. The only problems encountered was keeping the structure of the email that the customer was used to which was resolved on the same day. So delighted was the customer on sign off that he subsequently purchased Microsoft CRM from us to streamline his sales procedures and documentation.

If you have Linux and want to look at other options NCI can offer the complete service when it comes to Microsoft products.
