Aviva is the fifth largest global insurance company with 57,000 staff worldwide and is the result of a merger of 40 different trading names around the globe.





Concentra created an interactive intranet to engage all staff, encourage them to celebrate Aviva Day (2 June) and to communicate their brand promise - 'no one recognises you like Aviva' - a promise that applies to customers, shareholders and employees.





During Aviva Day over 22,000 users successfully logged on to the intranet.




Creation of an interactive web site to engage the staff (57,000) to celebrate Aviva Day (2 June) and communicate their brand promise, during a 24 hour period.

The project involved the design and development of a SharePoint site, including a number of custom web parts, to contain other components created by the Corporate Television Network (CTN) who worked closely with Concentra and Microsoft to deliver the project.





In order to meet and manage performance expectations there was heavy optimisation of code necessary. Styled out-of-the-box web parts were used in a combination with custom web parts to enhance the site's functionality and look and feel.
