- Pros
- We overlooked SharePoint for BI - but after a workshop with Business Agility we were very aware of how SP BI could meet and beat the other solutions we were looking at during our procurement stage. We were presented with a BI solution built on some very familiar tech - using excel mainly. It was the right choice for us, and a poc helped trial how it would be applied. We already had SharePoint, so it was helpful to know that we didnt have to spend more to get more.
- Cons
- i liked that it was better than out of the box solutions, but a drawback would be that it is quite difficult to see SP as a particular solution to one thing (we almost overlooked it first time round!)
