Get listed in another language or country

Extend your geographic reach, build your business

With Pinpoint, you can showcase your expertise and offerings to business customers in multiple languages and countries/regions.


Just follow the guidance below to use your existing profile in countries/regions that share a local language, and to create localised profiles for additional countries/regions.  Before you get started, read the Requirements for listing below.


Requirements:

  • Your Company Overview, Application and Service Listings must be localised into the language used by the Pinpoint marketplace in the country you want to list in.
  • You must have both a localised website and a contact person who serves customers in that language.
  • You cannot list an application or professional service in a new country without first listing a Company Overview for that country/region.
  • The selection of available countries is dependent on the language of your profile as well as the countries associated with your Company Overview. Only countries that use the selected language of the profile will be shown. Make sure that you have created and associated a Company Overview in the appropriate language and country.

To determine the correct language for your additional country or language listing, click the country/region drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the Pinpoint home page.

Listing your existing Company Overview in another country that shares the same language

  1. Sign in to the Pinpoint Dashboard using the Microsoft account credentials (formerly Windows Live ID) that you use to access the Microsoft Partner Network.
  2. Select Add or Edit Profiles from the left-hand navigation. You should now be on the green Company Overviews tab.
  3. Find the Company Overview that shares the same language as the country you want to be listed in, and in the -Actions- drop-down menu on the right, select Associate Countries/Regions.
  4. From the checklist, tick the additional country (or countries) that you want to associate with this Company Overview and select Save.

    Note: Only countries that share the same language will be listed in the checklist.

Please allow up to 10 business days for the profile to appear on the Pinpoint live site for the new country/region.

Listing a new Company Overview, in a new language and in a new country

  1. Sign in to the Pinpoint Dashboard using the Microsoft account credentials (formerly Windows Live ID) that you use to access the Microsoft Partner Network.
  2. Select Add or Edit Profiles from the left-hand navigation. You should now be on the green Company Overviews tab.
  3. Select New.
  4. Select the new language for your new Company Overview.
  5. Select the country (or countries) that you want this Company Overview to be listed in.
  6. Enter your localised company description, website URL and contact information.
  7. Select Submit for Approval.

Note: Only countries that share this language will be listed in the checklist. 

Tip: Include succinct keywords and phrases to improve readability and search rankings. Read more about keywords.

Allow up to 10 business days for your profile to appear on the Pinpoint live site for the new country/region.

Publishing an existing App or Service Listing in another country that shares the same language

  1. Sign in to the Pinpoint Dashboard using the Microsoft account credentials (formerly Windows Live ID) that you use to access the Microsoft Partner Network.
  2. Select Add or Edit Profiles from the left-hand navigation. You should now be on the green Company Overviews tab.
  3. Select the Apps + Services tab.
  4. Find the application or professional service listing you would like to associate, and in the -Actions- drop-down menu on the right, select Associate Countries/Regions.
  5. Select the country/region (or countries/regions) that you want your application or service to be listed in.
  6. Select Save at the bottom of the page.

Please allow up to 10 business days for the listing to appear on the Pinpoint live site for the newly associated country/region.

Publishing an existing App or Service Listing in a country that uses a different language

  1. Sign in to the Pinpoint Dashboard using the Microsoft account credentials (formerly Windows Live ID) that you use to access the Microsoft Partner Network.
  2. Select Add or Edit Profiles from the left-hand navigation. You should now be on the green Company Overviews tab.
  3. Select the Apps + Services tab.
  4. Find the application or service listing you would like to associate, and select Add a Listing.
  5. Select the new language which you want to list your application or service in.
  6. Select the country/region (or countries/regions) which you want to list your application or service in.
  7. Enter your localised application or service description and related website URL.
  8. Select Submit for Approval.
