As a result of previous implementations, Mongoose and its clients discovered that, having invested heavily in Enterprise Search technology and particularly FAST, there were significant shortfalls in the ability to pull meaningful MI / reporting stats from the search engine. In response, Mongoose developed its Advanced Analytics tool to enrich a corporation’s reporting ability and allow management to monitor and analyse in detail the search results from the search software. It is a standard product that can also be customised to an organisation’s specific requirements.
The tool allows you to analyse the performance of your search portal to improve search relevancy within your organisation - important because knowing how search is being used either by your associates or clients will significantly influence how you plan your strategy for improvement. In addition, you can identify and analyse historical and trend data, again helping you to plan for improvement with visibility and confidence.
