It’s time to change - are you still using paper forms within your organisation? If so have you considered the time your employees are spending collating the required information and painstaking completing every box? It’s time that is being diverted from what they do best – the job you are paying them to do. Solidsoft can help you make that change by changing your paper forms into electronic forms, providing on-line access 24 hours a day, automating the required information and managing business process from data collection to service fulfilment.
InfoPath - With Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007, rich, dynamic electronic forms can be created in order gather, share, reuse, and manage information, improving collaboration and decision-making throughout your organisation.
Office SharePoint Services - Helps organisations gain better control and insight over their content, streamline their business processes, and access and share information. In addition, SharePoint Server 2010 gives IT professionals the tools they need for server administration along with application extensibility and interoperability. SharePoint Server 2010 provides a single, integrated location where employees can efficiently find organisational resources, access corporate knowledge, and leverage business insight to make better-informed decisions.
Form Creation - Form Design is carried out using the InfoPath client. A selection of predefined table layouts are available on to which the required user controls are simply dragged and dropped. The appropriate underlying XML schema is automatically created as the form is built up. Each control’s properties can be set and include the data type, whether it’s entry is mandatory, validation rules (used to display appropriate messages when the user enters invalid data), and rules that can be associated with other controls and the values they contain.
Data Connections - Where appropriate, controls can be connected to data. Data can be embedded in the form itself or can be retrieved from external sources. External data might be: data in an external XML document, data held in a SharePoint list, data from SharePoint's shared services retrieved via a Web Service or data held in an external SQL-Server (or Access) database. These data connections can be stored in a special Data Connection Library and then re-used within other InfoPath forms throughout the enterprise.
