Enterprise Operational excellence is critically dependent on capture and dissemination of information/knowledge across the enterprise. Enterprise Content Management systems address this issue to a certain extent. However, there is host of untapped unstructured information with each individual associate within an organization. This information can be tapped by providing a natural and more collaborative means.
CliquePoint identifies this critical need of sharing unstructured information which aids productivity improvement and breeds a collaborative culture through a very innovative way of information capture, retention, sharing & consumption.
CliquePoint is a social collaboration platform built entirely on SharePoint 2010 to facilitate and manage the “unstructured” knowledge within the enterprise. The major differentiator from other enterprise social network tools which are hosted solutions, CliquePoint will remain behind the firewall and seamlessly integrate with the “structured” enterprise knowledge management system, thus leveraging existing investment.
CliquePoint, works on the concept of “Communities”. It provides a SharePoint 2010 template with OOTB SharePoint webparts like blogs, wikis and discussion forum and a custom built Facebook like wall where in user can post, comment, share, rate, tag their thoughts. These feeds or posts are searchable along with the other information in the community. In addition to the above there are other key features where in user can follow other users, topic or an artifact (document, blog, etc). Anything and everything happening on the community appears as and activity feed on the wall apart from the regular posts and comments, For Ex : if user has blogged about something or created wiki or posted a question in the “Ask The Expert” section then a feed would be generated and appear on the community wall. Users can post attachments (docs, pictures videos) and tag them as well.

CliquePoint extends MySites of SharePoint 2010 to personalize social collaboration experience. Here in the user can track all the community feeds, comment / post messages to the communities he/she is following and post private messages to colleagues as well.
CliquePoint user experience is based on latest web trends and the underlying architecture allows seamless addition of features and functionalities. CliquePoint also has connectors built in for external Social Networking sites (Facebook, Twitter).
