Why Is My Profile Not Showing On Pinpoint?

Resolve Common Issues That Can Hold Up Publishing

When you join the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN), you are asked to create a Company Overview describing your organisation's expertise. This information typically migrates to the Pinpoint Dashboard within three business days. After this time, you can check the status of your Company Overview by logging in to the Pinpoint Dashboard using your Microsoft account credentials (formerly Windows Live ID). If your Overview does not meet the Pinpoint Profile Guidelines, you can make necessary changes by following the instructions below. Other issues that can hold up publishing are detailed on this page as well.

Your Company Overview does not meet the Pinpoint Profile Guidelines.

Many companies submit incomplete information or broken/invalid company URLs when they enrol with MPN, therefore their overviews don't get approved for publication on Pinpoint. After enrolling with MPN and waiting three days, you can check the status of your overview by doing the following:

  1. Log in to the Pinpoint Dashboard using your Microsoft account credentials.
  2. You will be prompted to complete the Microsoft Pinpoint New User Signup form. Complete the form and select Sign Me Up at the bottom of the page.
  3. Click the Add or Edit Profiles link.

    Note:
If this link does not appear on the left side of your Dashboard page, you must log in to the Microsoft Partner Network to troubleshoot. See below.*
  4. Choose the Company Overview tab. If you see a notification from the Pinpoint Team that changes are required, click the Make Changes button and follow the guidance to adjust your profile to meet the Pinpoint Profile Guidelines. For example, you may be advised to correct incomplete or inadequate company information, or an invalid company website.

If you do not see the Make Changes button, choose Edit Details in the Actions drop-down menu. Adjust your profile to meet the Pinpoint Profile Guidelines. Make sure your Company Overview is complete and that your company URL and any links to additional information are accurate and functional.

At this time, you can also add Application and Service Listings.
  5. Click Submit for Approval at the bottom of the page.

  2. Log in to the Pinpoint Dashboard and check the status of the section of your profile you revised (Company Overview or Application or Service Listing).
  3. Modify your profile to meet the guidelines.
  4. Click Submit.
