Description
The stringent process of selecting a CPLS to deliver this important task of enabling partners to be ready for Server Launch Wave across three key products Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 is no easy decision.
The Singapore EPG PAM team and SMSP PAM team and Product Manager for Server & Tools elected NetAssist as the exclusive Go-To CPLS to execute this plan and overall project managed the entire delivery.
NetAssist, a Microsoft Gold CPLS, exhibited the necessary competencies, qualities, passion and team work to achieve what was set out in the score card.
To-date the activities are still on going.
The scorecard, developed by Microsoft Singapore, was a "First" based on count of unique partner organizations per segment as well as count of seats per partner organization. So in total there are 12 set metrics per training type.
This metrics tracking and assessment is granular and time-consuming. But it is a more accurate reflection of the readiness index amongst partners.
NetAssist overall delivery framework involves:
Planning and executing marketing and EDM campaigns;
Deliver Partner Account Readiness plan with key partners;
Driving attendance with support from PAMs;
Centralized registration /reminder /evaluation (include call-down);
Prepare and deliver contents in multiple format: Sales Seminars, Technical Pre-sales Seminars, “Hot” Labs & Deep Dives;
Centralized Technical Readiness Email Support;
Regular Reporting and Review;
Ensure partner satisfaction is met.
In total, NetAssist conducted 6 sales sessions, 5 technical pre-sales sessions and 17 HOLs and Deep dives.
Additional sessions are conducted for specific partner locations, and via distributors' events.
Details of metrics as follows:
a) More than 190 unique partner organizations across all 6 partner segments (100% of EPG, 88% of SMSP Managed, SMSP Telemanaged, Breadth, Distributor, ISV).
b) More than 1600 touch points across all partner segments.
c) Total 296 First Look clinic/HOL seats and total 105 MOC 6416 training seats.
d) 96% partners return ratings beyond “Somewhat Satisfied”. In fact 39% rate the sales readiness as “Very Satisfied”.
