BDNA Normalize CM takes inventory data collected by ConfigMgr normalizes it to a common format and naming convention, clarifying vendor names, product names and versions. It uses add-remove-programs and executables data to determine whether products were installed standalone or as suites.
Normalize enriches the product data with relevant attributes such as whether software is free or licensable, Windows 7 compatibility, its support lifecycle and what category the software is a part of.
The normalized software and hardware information is made available as native classes that enable ConfigMgr to be used to drive Windows 7 migrations, software license true-ups, software consolidation and desktop transformation projects.
