Pros
CareVoyant made it easy for us to merge our old multi-system databases and companies into one database with multi-company functionality. Their support during our conversion of 90 days was terrific. We have the ability to interface multiple clinical systems to theirs with a very efficient workflow from our MDS, external Pharmacy, and Therapy. The system workflow and reporting capabilities have moved our long term care industry years forward. We have reduced our AR 90 day percentage by half in 15 months and decreased DSO days by as much as 60 days. The decision to purchase CareVoyant has given our organization the analytical data for quick decisions and long term projections.
Cons
A common theme among most long term and healthcare vendors holds true here, and that is a clear " how to - owner's manual". In the past year I have seen great improvements in the notes and documentation for releases.
Additional Comments
I've had the opportunity to use several systems over my 20 years in health care and CareVoyant has had one of the best customer support transitions from startup to regular support. I never noticed the change as they are always quick to respond to support tickets we have placed (mostly user induced on our part). The upgrades are minimal regulatory driven at best and well tested before deployed to users and always delivered ahead of regulatory deadlines. The beauty for us also was this is a system that can grow with the organization module by module, division by division, however your organization is ready to change.

Pros
We have really enjoyed the flexibility of the CareVoyant Long-Term Care module. The system allows us to bill efficiently to various outside programs, provides clear and concise information that is needed for our company and residents. Customer service and support is excellent and we look forward to integrating other CareVoyant modules in the near future.

Pros
It took much time and research for us to settle on the appropriate software to implement billing/clinical processes. Once we made the decision, the staff at Carevoyant was extremely supportive in implementation and workflow. We have successfully implemented the billing side of Carevoyant and utilizing the MDS. We are looking forward to clinical implementation. I specifically appreciate that Carevoyant is a smaller company and is flexible around workflow based on the individual entity. As a non-profit, we are always looking to ensure quality of care while managing the bottom line. We are able to accomplish this with Carevoyant.
Cons
As any organization would probably say, we had our own growing pains related to merging Carevoyant into our daily work lives. Carevoyant was quite flexible with us and able to allow us to be in the driver's seat when it came to implementation length and processes.
