Pros

It's a great tool to perform a deep review and audit for vulnerabilities in your network, without using agents. Setting the platform is quite simple, you don't need complex configurations. The information retrieved is outstanding, you get to know within a few seconds the number of updates missing for the OS, updates in 3rd party software and also other vulnerabilities points like ports open in any given machine. This software also includes several ways to remediate those vulnerabilities, including the auto remediation so every time there's an scheduled scan of GFI soon as a vulnerability is found it gets fixed. You can also get a software inventory within your organization; and setting unathorized software which GFI can detect and automatically remove from machines.

Cons

There are just a few drawbacks I found: Removing unauthorized software requires for the application to be installed in at least one computer, this is required for testing the uninstallation process. There's no option for real-time actions, for example if we found a malicious software process, we cannot kill it using GFI. The tool provides a RDP option to interact.
