Glassboard brings the power of private group sharing to Office 365. With Glassboard’s Silverlight app, SharePoint Online users can create ‘boards’ and conduct confidential business communications with individuals that are both internal and external to their organization. Glassboard is your own private corner of the internet - boards are invitation-only, and are not sharable, searchable, or discoverable. Powered by Azure, Glassboard allows you to:
- Create groups with individuals both inside and outside your firewall
- Message a group of people quickly & easily
- Share photos and videos
- Show your location when appropriate
- Access your 'boards' via mobile clients for Windows Phone 7, Android, and iOS
- Benefit from the security and reliability of Windows Azure and SQL Azure
