- Pros
- We've used the tool for several customer migrations to Office 365 and Exchange 2010. We've liked the options it presents to customers to move just part of their archive data over (i.e. less than 2 years old), which helps avoid swamping a new O365 mailbox. Also liked the ability to configure and schedule batches of mailboxes at once, and the reporting available for customers around success of the migration.
- Cons
- Slower than we'd like migration speeds. However this is down to Exchange/O365 throttling policies though rather than TransVault itself. Otherwise, happy with it.
- Additional Comments
- We encountered a lot of failures in migrating data into 2010 or O365. This is down to EWS not liking non-SMTP addresses in emails rather than anything TransVault related. TransVault helpfully provided some assistance to mitigate the issue to some extent, but all customers will experience this to some degree we believe.
