Pros: We made a sound investment with the selection of vicinity software for our process manufacturing operations. Since we implemented in 2008, our company has been reaping the benefits of improved inventory accuracy and timeliness. We now have a single source of quality control data and our raw materials are managed centrally in real time. All of this has enabled our company to reduce internal cost by nearly 35% and we are able to stay more competitive in the marketplace. I have recommended Vicinity to many of our suppliers and partners and will continue to do so.
Cons: It was difficult to find a MS Dynamics VAR who sells Vicinity with process manufacturing industry knowledge. I wish Vicinity Manufacturing had a larger network of Vicinity VARs who had a true understand of the product and its capabilities.

Pros: Vicinity manufacturing is great manufacturing software. Their software support is exceptional…from setting up, implementing and training, to support whenever you have a problem/question. Vicinity is never farther than an e-mail away. Steve and Paul (from Lakeshore) answer any questions we have immediately, day or night. We implemented the Vicinity software in 2007 and I am amazed at how much more efficient we are now that we have Vicinity. Vicinity understands manufacturing and what a company is looking for in manufacturing software. Vicinity was able to integrate with all of our other software and thus cut our redundant work immensely. Vicinity has many reports available and they will customize them to fit your needs. We used to look in many different places to find the information needed to make manufacturing decisions, but now we have all the information on a single report. Over the years we have looked at a lot of different manufacturing software. We even purchased one that
