ERT Group studied our business carefully and they were able to provide us solutions that specifically focussed on our needs.

We looked at various providers, and ERT Group was the only vendor who met all of our criteria. Above all, they had a solid understanding of our industry. We could tell them the end result of what we wanted, and they continually came through with the right solutions to achieve those objectives.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Pros
The ERT Group provided the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 along with emPower™ Work Order Management. They helped us migrating from the traditional CRM tracking, with pad and paper as well as other software products we were using prior to that. This implementation helped us achieving higher visibility into our product line and sales funnel, deeper analysis of current and future distribution, and real time reporting. Their consultants were experienced and friendly, and besides the whole implementation they also worked on facilitating the importing and data scrubbing, allowing us to worry less about the details, and focus more on the big picture.

Great Partner for GP Dynamics Integration and BI solutions

Pros
We leveraged the ERT group for the consolidation of multiple companies into three companies running on the GP Dynamics platform in a public company. ERT was chosen because they offered two products that they developed in house and expertises in areas that no other partner in the region had that were critical to the success of the project. The two areas were eConnect Integrations and Business Intelligence for Dynamics GP. During the engagement ERT demonstrated a high level of professionalism and experience as a partner. They were very knowledgeable on the Microsoft dynamics suite and around their solutions and when the timelines got close they did the extra effort to deliver on time.
Cons
I have worked with four GP partners in South Florida over the last four years and have encountered many experiences that “I didn’t like”. As for ERT being my current partner I can say that I based my selection of them by looking for a partner that didn’t exhibit any of the characteristics that “I didn’t like”. ERT is a partner that understands an engagement before they commit to a solution, doesn’t put together schedules or statements of work that are unrealistic on price or hours and are willing to put in the extra effort to make sure the engagement is successful. Upon working with ERT I would recommend spending an adequate amount of time scoping out the project so that your engagement doesn’t go over budget. ERT like any other partner can only scope out a Statement of Work correctly if they have been provided as many details about the engagement as possible. Like anything else proper planning will make sure your projects are on budget and in time.
Additional Comments
The emPower Integrations solution is a middleware layer for facilitating the quick development of integrations into GP utilizing the eConnect layer developed by ERT. Having this solution already developed allows ERT to develop and deliver robust integrations in a fraction of the time that it would take to develop the integrations from scratch. The other value add product that ERT provided for our project was the emPower Business Intelligence data mart for GP Dynamics. This data mart allowed us to validate the consolidation of the companies instead of having to match transactional reports coming from the source and destination companies. This approach for validation cut down time by more than 80% based on my prior experiences validating GP Dynamics implementations and upgrades.
