Doesn't Care About Little Guy

Pros
Modern looking website, regularly updated
Cons
Slow at responding, sometimes takes days and sometimes not at all. We are now looking at switching for a different provider as we feel like we are ignored because we are a smaller company (rapidly growing). We had a meeting with our sales rep who made promises that were never delivered. We constantly have our questions answered with "we'll get back to you". Most the time we're never contacted back. We received little to no help in tracking licenses. After purchasing software, SoftwareOne is clueless on where to download or where the licenses are sent half the time.

We gave them multiple chances to show us that our business is important.

SAM Project and ongoing

Pros
We knew our Software Asset Management Assessment Project would involve a lot of OEM and retail boxed products as well as a disorganized collection of Volume License purchases, so we expected it to be painful. It was not. The team at SoftwareOne stepped up and guided us through the process of deploying the tools and collecting the information we needed, and then produced a license reconciliation that got the maximum return for our licenses in their various forms. We are extremely pleased with the result. Every person we deal with at SoftwareONE has been courteous, professional, and responsive. We continue to work with SoftwareONE and recommend their services without hesitation.

SAM Engagement

Pros
Our SAM engagement was a very quick and painless process. The PDQ Deploy software was a great tool that assisted with the audit. The SoftwareONE representative we were worked with was very helpful and organized.
Cons
We didn't have anything we didn't like with SoftwareONE.

Pros
SoftwareONE's Software Asset Management team is a fantastic group to work with. They definately had our best interests in mind throughout the whole engagement process and they were extremely professional. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.
