Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM) is an end-to-end collaborative project and portfolio solution. EPM helps organizations gain visibility, insight, and control. This results in enhanced decision-making, improved alignment with business strategy, optimized resource utilization, and increased operational efficiency.
EPM is based on Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Project It integrates with Exchange, Office, and SharePoint to provide powerful collaboration capabilities and a familiar connected work environment.
Organizational initiatives vary widely and EPM must be tailored to the differing needs. There is no one-size fist all approach. EPM has flexible capabilities to support various initiatives and organizational structures. CorpInfo customizes EPM for a variety of programs.
One EPM project CorpInfo completed was for the California Endowment to provide an environment to manage project collaterals such as contracts and supporting documentation. The key value add of this solution was making the collateral searchable and reusable. Now each project can be used as a template, measured for success and tracked for issues.
This rapidly deployed solution was completed in only four weeks from requirements and governance analysis to deployment and included the training of four technical engineers, two project managers and one administrative staff member. The project was identified as the first successful deployment of EPM 2010 in Southern California and was nominated for a Microsoft Partner Award.
