Description
CorpInfo’s Electronic Internal Purchasing System (EIP) provides a flexible e-catalog without the complexity and lengthy deployment cycle of other solutions. It is ideal for internal procurement, parts requests and distribution, equipment loans and reservations, or warehouse management.
EIP is an “off the shelf” solution that provides rich capabilities such as connections to suppliers and inventory systems, real-time availability and pricing, and a user-friendly interface for full administrative control. This browser-based solution requires no separate client application and utilizes common Microsoft technologies such as Internet Information Services, SQL Server, and .Net Framework.
Uses and benefits include:
-Load items into a catalogue
-Inventory items and their inventory levels
-Synchronize electronic catalogue with your inventory database
-Maintain product categories and subcategories to enable efficient and meaningful searches
-Display or hide items and item attributes as necessary
-Complete shopping cart functionality: browse and select items, attach “favorite” attributes to items, write reviews, bundle items into custom “carts” for future use, and submit “carts” as fulfillment requests
-Simplified User Interactions
-Full Administrative Control
An EIP project CorpInfo completed recently was when we designed a comprehensive internal procurement system for an enterprise defense company with over 2500 employees located across several locations nationwide. The client needed to streamlined its procurement process and desired an automated solution with a simple user interaction and full administrative control. As their primary IT consulting company for over a decade, CorpInfo developed an Electronic Internal Purchasing System to save the client valuable time and headache.
