You will also receive a SAM Improvement Plan that focuses on advancing your SAM maturity through process design, business case analysis, and adoption planning.
A SAM Deployment Planning Engagement will provide you with a clear roadmap for:
- Production deployment of the selected the SAM tool
- Advancing your organization’s Hardware and Software Inventory SAM maturity level
- Improving visibility into, and control of, your IT infrastructure
Major Steps

2.) Proof-of-Concept
3.) Final Report Presentation
In addition, you will receive an executive presentation which provides a high-level overview of the engagement and findings with an emphasis on the risks and benefits of your current and future state as well as the business case to initiate improvements to SAM.
Customers considering a SAM Deployment Planning engagement should also review the "Inviso - SAM Baseline Services" and "Inviso – SAM Assessment Services" offerings in PinPoint.
