Description

This five-day effort is designed to install and configure the integration components needed to provide a unified directory between Live@EDU mail accounts and the customer’s internal Active Directory. This is a turnkey solution with no customization included in the base price. Add-on components are available to integrate additional directories such as a Student Information System database for complete end-to-end account provisioning. Planning and design of the Live@EDU service are in scope of this project.

The business drivers for this effort include:

- Provide student email accounts using Microsoft’s K-20 email solution Live@EDU

- Provide Global Address List (GAL) sync for efficient scheduling and emailing

- Maintain high levels of availability and functionality that the customer expects from Microsoft

- Reduce costs involved in creating and managing student accounts
