Description
Sasria identified the need for a Customer Web Portal to enable the network of Sasria agents and brokers to interact and communicate with Sasria in relation to their claims administration, Group Scheme’s
registration and updates and other self-service functionality for the agents. Previously all interactions between the agents and Sasria took place via email, phone or fax. Their requests, queries, claim submissions and questions were dealt with ad-hoc by the
claim controllers or other internal Sasria staff and captured into IMS.
Intervate created a portal site for each insurance company to enable agents to log into the portal site and interact with it. Questions can be posted to their portal’s discussion forum and answered by the
relevant Sasria users. Agents will be able to upload documents initiating a workflow for new claims or incomplete claims. The solution will integrate tightly into IMS showing the agents key information about claims and group schemes as well as saving approved
data directly into IMS.
The mission of this project was ultimately to provide an integrated insurance management system between Sasria and its representatives. SASRIA benefited greatly from our services as the solution that was
deployed resulted in a quick turnaround time for claims, the automation of the claims cycle reduced human error as well as the length of time between query and claim resolution and the customer care process is a lot faster. Intervate senior resources including
Account Manager, Project Manager and developers were assigned to the project and SASRIA was extremely happy with the results from a business value perspective.
