Application Description
Janison CAFe takes all of the key delivery components of the assessment process and delivers them via Microsoft Azure.
Instead of being limited by the capacity of the web and SQL servers, Janison CAFe utilizes the Azure CDN, table storage and compute resources to scale the application to easily meet an assessment’s resource requirements.
When assessments are delivered to large numbers of users, it normally means that there are significant loads placed on the networks that support the users undertaking the test.
Janison CAFe uses a range of techniques to reduce the network load and to support large numbers of users downloading digital assets at the same time. The assessment pages are optimised to keep the traffic being generated from accessing pages to a minimum. Media, such as videos, audio and images are stored in the CDN which distributes these larger files across a range of web servers allowing many users to access these files at the same time, and where possible, have the larger files stored in cache servers within the organisation’s network.
The application also supports on premise data repositories, design and control systems that provide data sovereignty for organisations that have such requirements.
