Our customer, the University of Sydney was unhappy with its legacy mail system and wanted to upgrade to a new mail and collaboration system for students and faculty staff.
Ensyst worked hard to design, implement and integrate a pilot live @ edu solution in order to prove the superiority of the Microsoft platform over competing solutions. Part of that solution included Ensyst's Live Accelerator - a proprietary tool developed by Ensyst which helps speed up the migration to Live @ edu.
After demonstrating the solution on a pilot group of students and faculty, and attending numerous Board meetings (which included heads of all the major faculties and representative bodies) the University decided to go with the Live@edu solution.
The outcome? The University asked Ensyst to migrate approximately 60,000 student accounts to live@edu ensuring that those students, as they enter the workforce and become the business and community leaders of the future, are familiar with the power of the Microsoft stack and it’s leading communications and collaboration tools. As for the University, they were so pleased with Ensyst’s work that they commissioned a Secure Single Sign-on project to integrate them into the live@edu solution into their legacy Leaning Management System “ My Uni” and have subsequently engaged Ensyst to roll out several other live@edu related projects. Testing has shown the solution to be a great success reaffirming Ensyst as a leading Microsoft Education Industry Partner.
