Omnica's add-in modules for Dynamics AX make the ERP system capable of running a sophisticated online shopping and/or catalogue mail order business, a fulfilment services company, or a wholesale distribution business. They are highly complementary to the new Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail solution, which focuses on bricks-and-mortar retail. The Omnica solution adds extensive capability for the direct channels within the multi-channel mix.
Omnica's modules include:
- Omnica Webstore: a comprehensive solution for online shopping and online customer service, with strong tools for merchandising, SEO, product and content management, facetted search, checkout and My-Account.
- Omnica Telesales & Customer service: impressive facilities for the contact centre, to take orders and provide customer service by phone, live chat and email
- Omnica MCR Back Office: includes powerful direct marketing tools, for managing a large database of customers and prospects, and leveraging this information for marketing campaigns, together with a comprehensive toolset for managing and fulfilling large volumes of customer orders in a distribution environment.
Omnica's modules are developed in X++, the native development language of Dynamics AX, and in the case of the customer-facing Omnica Webstore elements, in .net. The solution is PCI compliant and is available both from Omnica, and via an international network of accredited Dynamics AX solution partners.
