Application Description
IOTAP SPitter solution is like a Twitter for Microsoft SharePoint. Just like Twitter, SPitter allows employees within an organization to stay connected through the exchange of quick status updates and link sharing. To install SPitter you need Administrator rights on the SharePoint site where SPitter solution has to be installed. SPitter works with Windows SharePoint Services 3.0(WSS 3.0), Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007(MOSS), SharePoint 2010 Foundation, SharePoint 2010 Server, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010, Microsoft SharePoint Online and Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010.

- Quickly update status or share links
- Automatic URL shortening for large links
- Reply to a user’s status update
- View all user messages time line
- View replies sent to an user
- Update status via email
- Search status messages
- Subscribe to RSS feeds
