It does exactly what it advertises and it installs quickly and painlessly.

Pros
It's an efficient app that does one thing and does that one thing well. The Auto-fill function is a great timesaver.
Cons
Our IT continuously installed Auto Number incorrectly and we would have to rely on support from CRM Innovation. CRM Innovation however has great customer support.

Pros
AutoNumber is a simple, powerful, and affordable solution to add a unique sequential number to any entity within CRM. The install process was quick and well documented within the installation guide. Our clients like the flexibility to control the number format and the ability to add unique numbers to all entities.
Cons
The only issue we have run into was trying to implement AutoNumber in a clustered environment. CRM Innovation was willing to work with us and our client to get AutoNumber to work in a clustered environment.

Simple, Ease, Effective

Pros
Autonumber meets a very basics need and that is to create unique ID's for CRM entities. Autonumber allowed use to deliver to our customers the flexibility create a unique ID on CRM entities and easily change the number requirements in a few steps.
Cons
The product is so simple i really do not have anything I do not like. However, if there was a suggestion i would make it would be to change how the license is applied to the product. I would have liked for the license to have been applied from within the CRM web interface.

I have worked with Autonumber for several years and it is truly a great product at a great price point. Furthermore, CRM Innovation is always responsive and proactive in make sure their products deliver

Pros
AutoNumber fills a big gap in Dynamics CRM; the generation of a unique number that can be used by people and external systems. It's flexible, it's straightforward to use, and it's reasonably priced. The support was absolutely superb.
Cons
Minor issue - no support for load-balanced front-end server.
Additional Comments
There are a few slightly fidgety things on the install - e.g. it uses http://localhost, so that host header needs to be bound to your CRM website.

Support is a determining factor for use of vendors and the organizations products. The AutoNumber staff goes above and beyond support of their own product and attempts to support the plugin process in general. This support model is sensational and will keep me in a working relationship with the company while the product lasts.

Pros
As a non-profit, we have had to customize MS CRM to meet our unique needs. One of the problems we've had with Dynamics is the inability to use auto-numbering for certain types of entitys. I've looked at many different solutions to this problem, but nothing even comes close to AutoNumbers. The application is fairly simple to install with very detailed instructions, and it's just as easy to implement. It's probably one of the best product add-ons we'll ever purchase for our CRM. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for the ability to use auto-numbering across any of their entitys, it's just a great program.
Cons
Didn't have a single bad experience. I had some minor issues with the installation, but that was in part due to specific settings within our server. The support we recieved was again above par, with very quick response times and dedicated follow up. This level of support is very rare.

I can't imagine there being a deployment of CRM out there that wouldn't benefit in some way from this product. It's really a must have product, and the implementation is wonderful.

Excellent Product and Service

Pros
The company I work for has used it for over a year now and it has worked so well, and the GUI layout is so intuitive, they opted not to extend the support when it came due a couple of months ago. Last week I tried to move our on-premise solution to IFD and in the process, I killed the AutoNumber. I contacted them, they saw that my support had expired and mentioned it, but were concerned about getting me up and running and worked through the issues I had created until it worked, all without getting a credit card up front for the expired support. During the process I also learned about the Back Fill Utility. I was pleasantly surprised they had such a tool and amazed at the speed and effectiveness of it. It successfully updated all the entities that had been created during the time I had the AutoNumber feature down. I am very happy with this product and support which includes the latest upgrades. After this experience I gladly paid for the support/updates out of my own pocket.
Cons
Nothing I don't like. I would like a feature that let's me dynamically create a prefix to a number so I could have a letter/number code to easily identify the lead source etc. This feature may be available and I am not aware of it.

We have been looking for a proper autonumber tool and were just about to develop one our self, until we found Autonumber from CRM Innovation. We have requested a trial and installed the software without any problems. After some tests we concluded that it was exactly what we needed and purchased it for one of our customers.

AutoNumber does exactly what we wanted, including tasks that we didn't even think about (such as assigning ids to existing records). It automatically assigns unique identification values to any record, according to whatever scheme you want. It is easy to install, easy to configure, and easy to use. Also, the price that we paid was completely reasonable - there were no concerns about the cost of this solution.
Cons
The installation documentation at the time was missing prerequisites and steps. However, after working with support to fix my issues, they updated the installation documentation immediately and made it available on their website.
Additional Comments
I definitely recommend this product AND company. Even when I had some problems with the installation they responded quickly and accurately, and resolved the root cause of the issues.

Pros
It helped us solve a problem with number formating for Case management. The standard CRM number formatting did not meet our needs. Their staff was great and very responsive.
Cons
It took some manual configuration with support from the AutoNumber team during the initial installation.
