Application Description
Duet Enterprise provides the framework linking the SAP world to the Microsoft world. Structured and unstructured processes are consolidated, and a uniform database is created.
The CS Procurement Portal based on Duet Enterprise by Campana & Schott supports the purchase process by linking the SAP world to the Microsoft world. The necessary information and tools are made available to all stakeholders involved on a demand driven basis via a uniform and user-friendly web interface.
With the systematic application of the Duet Enterprise framework, necessary functions like single sign-on, system management and monitoring are provided. SAP data are addressed via standard BAPIs, which, in parts, have been expanded in terms of business logic by dint of ABAP programming. The Web services realised are based on the Service Consumption Layer of Duet Enterprise. In SharePoint, external content types are used for the provision of the SAP data.
