Pros

The new monitor feature in version 3.5 is AWESOME!!! I have implemented the feature on 4 different projects and it works great. Due to the sporadic nature of the processes, I can’t schedule the jobs at a specific time. So I was left with running the job multiple times per day creating extra load on the servers. With the monitor feature in place, the number of jobs per day drastically dropped and leaves less for me to keep track of. Oh wait, the application already emails me to let me know what the monitors are doing, you guys think of everything.

Cons

That not all the departments in my company are using it.

Additional Comments

The logs and reports of all file and connection activity has made compliance and auditing in the Finance Department so much easier. This company is very helpful and they add great features to their software with every release.

Pros

In a school district that uses IBM servers, Windows clusters, and a mixture of Macintosh computers, this is the one application that allows all the systems talk and share data together. It notifies us if there are transfer problems and the encryption options secure our records and help us pass audits.

Cons

It was too easy to use. We blocked off the summer to implement and after a week were out of things to do.

I’ll say it again, that of all the tools I have purchased over 28 years in I.T. GoAnywhere Director is my favorite!

Pros

I think GoAnywhere Director is a great software package that is user friendly and very powerful. We've been able to automate many processes across many platforms where we never thought it possible! I have never given a 5 star rating to software, but this one performs in every category

Cons

I tried to think of some valid thing to say other than just saying "There is nothing to dislike." But this is a great piece of software and they gracefully help people learn how to use it.

Linoma's support staff is beyond words, they truely care about the customer and what the customer is trying to accomplish.
