ipConfigure develops software with a focus in scalable IP video surveillance solutions. ipConfigure is privately owned and was founded in 2003 after completing an enterprise IP video surveillance deployment for Atlanta Public Schools. This project was the first large-scale IP video surveillance deployment based on open architecture. The founders recognized that it was a nascent market with limited software offerings. Specifically, it lacked scalable enterprise IP video surveillance management software. ipConfigure focused on a solution that was both intuitive and scalable while based on a three-tier (computing) web-based application.
