The Connector supports both inbound and outbound calling activities with Unified IP. For inbound calls, the connector locates the right CRM record and opens for your agent. If the contact record is not found, the integration takes you automatically to the CRM contact search screen to allow your agent to search or create a new record. The integration automatically links the phone call record to the newly created contact record. From within the CRM Contact Ribbon, the primary CTI controls are easily available for your agent to manage the calling experience with the customer. Using the primary controls of Transfer, Conference, Hold and Disconnect, your agent will spend less time switching between applications and more time focusing on responding to the client.
