Microsoft Office 365 is an easy-to-use set of web-enabled tools that let you access your email, important documents, contacts, and calendar from anywhere and from any device. It enables manufacturers to access important production and customer data 24x7 via desktops, mobile devices, and web browsers, including access from the plant floor and on the road. And, because it is based on the cloud, you don’t have to worry about updates and hardware – everything is included in the monthly plan. We have found that manufacturing organizations have typically not enabled email or other collaboration tools for those that might be working on the plant floor – but using Office 365 kiosk licenses, our customers are able to extend these tools to all of their employees.
PTG has migrated and/or updated the Microsoft Office suite of hundreds of manufacturing users.
Office 365 for Manufacturing has not been reviewed by any customers.
