- Pros
- First time user of Pmpoint; allowed for collaboration of various projects onto an existing platform (Sharepoint) that the company already uses. Easy to navigate, lots of options to play around with.
- Cons
- PmPoint 2010 is still relatively new so every now and then we would find little bugs that didn't work out as planned.
- Additional Comments
- Overall a great product; good product support and good deployment team that guided us every step of the way.

- Pros
- It's impressive how quickly Brightwork got pmPoint ready for primetime right when SP2010 was just launching. The same rich features and capabilities as pmPoint for SP 2007 but with better integration, an improved UI and great reporting. It's another great indication of Brightwork's commitment to continuous improvement and responsiveness to customer needs.
- Cons
- It took me a little while to get used to the new UI, ribbon, etc in SP2010, and pmPoint went along with that.
- Additional Comments
- Unless you have super hardcore scheduling calculations needs (serious critical path and total float analysis, e.g.) or have to track resource hours to the nth degree, I am not sure why anyone would use a product other than pmPoint to manage a project with more than 2-3 participants. The advantages of collaborating on project management dwarf any shortcomings.
